Thank you for registering for the 2025 First Image Fun Run! We hope this event will give you opportunities to share about First Image and the word we do to give compassionate care to our hurting neighbors. We've put together some ideas to help you get started on your fundraising journey! Below you'll find:

FUNDRAISING TIPS​

Set a Goal
We set a default of $100 on your fundraising page, but feel free to adjust that to whatever feels like a good challenge for you. Try and beat your total from last year!

Sponsor Yourself
People will appreciate that you are devoting both your time and your finances to something you're trying to get them to engage with. It's a great way to get the ball rolling!

Personalize Your Fundraising Page
Once you've included your own photos and stories, go ahead and share it on social media and send it to friends and family. The more personal and specific you make it, the more likely your community will engage with it. Be sure to share fundraising updates with your sponsors on your page!

Contact Everyone Who Sponsored You Last Year
Thank them for their gift last year and ask them for their support again. It's helpful to as for a specific amount, so try starting at $25 or $50 and go from there. Direct all your sponsors to your online fundraising page.

Have First Image Come To Your Church/School
Call 503.256.0808 x140 or email Haley at events@first-image.org to schedule a time for our staff to come and present about the event at your school, team practice, community group, youth group, etc. There are ways for everyone to participate!

Use Special Occasions
If your birthday, anniversary, graduation, or other special occasion is coming up, ask for support in lieu of gifts.

Say It Again!
Most people will need to hear about the Fun Run and see your request to give multiple times and in different ways before they donate.

Getting Close To Your Goal?
Increase the amount! Continue to share updates with your community in person and on social media and keep making those asks.

 


HOW TO RAISE $400 IN 7 DAYS
The money you raise has a direct impact on the people we serve. We've created a plan to help as you raise $400 in just a week!

Day 1 - Sponsor yourself for $25
Day 2 - Ask 2 family members for $25
Day 3 - Ask 2 friends for $25
Day 4 - Ask a neighbor for $25
Day 5 - Ask 4 people from church for $25
Day 6 - Ask 2 local businesses for $50
Day 7 - Ask 2 more friends for $25
= $400 in a week!

What is First Image and why should I support them?
First Image is a network of three life-affirming pregnancy and women's health clinics in Greater Portland. At our Ava Health clinics, we offer compassionate care, information, and medically professional pregnancy services. By supporting us, you are helping bring awareness of the mission of First Image and its clinics to your community.

For your fundraising page:
